When and where to submit complaints and requests?(health care)

 

Complaints and applications can be brought in writing or verbally for the record. Complaints shall be received by providers and the Provincial Branch of National Health Fund in Lublin. 
In the event when the patient believes that medical personnel has made an error in process of treatment or acts in opposition to the rules of professional ethics, an institution competent for consideration of the case is the Regional Screener for Professional Liability of the Chamber of Physicians and Dentists. On the other hand, with regard to reservations as to the work of nurses or midwives, the patient can submit a complaint to the Screener for Professional Liability of the Regional Chamber of Nurses and Midwifes.
