What documents do I need to submit to cross the border?
When crossing a state border, a person is obliged to present their documents: a passport, an ID card and a visa, if required. There are no border controls within the European Union. However, one should remember that the EU executive bodies are entitled to check a person's documents, and a failure to present such documents may result in a fine.
