Everyone is invited to the Summer Crocheting Picnic. You don't have to know how to crochet - all you need is a crocheting needle (or knitting needles, if you prefer), some wool and a sense of fun :) Do not forget to take a picnic hamper; a blanket will also come in handy so that you may sit comfortably on the grass. Take your friends and children too :) If you do not feel like trying your hand at crocheting or knitting, come with a book or magazine to read.
If it rains (fingers crossed it doesn"t), we will look for an alternative place in one of The Old Town's pubs and cafes.
Let's reclaim the city space; let's make it truly public, which means OURS!

He Chengayo and Elżbieta Jabłońska - Próba Rozmowy (An Attempt at Conversation): exhibition opening

Two individual exhibitions of artists of different cultural backgrounds but connected by a similarity of techniques used, as well as their attitude and understanding of the aim of artistic activity. They both have experienced totalitarian reality, though in the case of Jabłońska it was the end of the People's Republic of Poland. They both connect their art to their private lives, treating it as a kind of therapy.
