ART EXHIBITION

Alevtina Kakhidze: In little places any corner can be seen as public

Galeria Labirynt, ul. Grodzka 5a

The Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze tales up subjects connected with popular culture, consumption and lifestyle. Her main doamin of interest are various objects which, regardless of their origins, price and role, have an immense power of seduction, be it an Ikea lamp or a lamp by Alvar Alto.

Iza Tarasewicz: Rama (Frame) - exhibition opening

17th June (Fri), 7 p.m.
Galeria Labirynt, ul. Grodzka 5a

"An exhibition concerning the non-existent and invisible. It's about a body that has left traces in the shape of empty frames. The frames vary: they can be stable and durable, or they can be fragile; hard or soft . . . The whole consists of parts dependent on one another. It's a jigsaw puzzle connected by means of subtle meanings. It's a monument for the transitory body."
