THEATRE
Neighbours: Central Europe Theatre Festival
15th - 17th June
The 6th edition of the Festival will centre around literature-inspired street theatre; there will be open-air performances based on the classical Molière comedy or on the writings of Stanisław Lem and Cervantes. Additionally, there will be plays staged in a circus tent located in Plac Litewski (Litewski Square) and a theatre parade in the pedestrian section of Krakowskie Przedmieście.
The festival is a cyclic event of a European scale; it is of a competitive character and comprises theatre plays, street performances and various forms of children's theatre. It is in these categories that prizes are awarded by the jury.
