Laura is a 19-year-old university first-year who works in a part-time job but cannot make ends meet. One evening she answers a personal ad online by "Joe," 57, who seeks a female student for "tender moments." The pay is 100 euros per hour. Laura pledges to do this just once, and three days later, she goes to a cheap hotel room with Joe...

In the lead up to state elections in the Indian village of Peepli, two poor farmers, Natha and Budhia, face losing their land over an unpaid bank loan. Desperate, they seek help from an apathetic local politician, who scornfully suggests they commit suicide to benefit from a government program that aids the families of indebted deceased farmers. When a journalist overhears Budhia urge Natha to "do what needs to be done" for the sake of their families, a media frenzy ignites around whether or not Natha will commit suicide

Angèle, a beautiful young woman with a past, arrives in a small fishing harbour in Normandy. She meets Tony, a professional fisherman, who finds himself attracted to her although he dislikes her blunt ways. Tony hires her as a fishmonger, lodges her and teaches her the tricks of the trade. The relationships between Myriam, Tony's mother, and Angèle are far from easy but the young woman gradually adapts to her new environment and little by little Tony and Angèle manage to tame each other

A film about peer pressure and taking responsibility for one's own life. The story revolves around Sara, Mikkel, Hassan and Louise, four teenagers, who are searching for their own identity and an anchor in their lives. One ill-fated day in the classroom a misunderstanding is thrown out of proportion and creates a wave of chaos. Suddenly they are the guilty ones and the victims of a game that has got out of hand.

Anton is a doctor who commutes between his home in an idyllic town in Denmark, and his work at an African refugee camp. In these two very different worlds, he and his family are faced with conflicts that lead them to difficult choices between revenge and forgiveness.

Toys by Anna Konik - exhibition

The installation consists of two videos and latex sculptures. In the films, the artist takes a look at an excluded community - patients form the therapy centre for schizophrenia.


Azyl (Haven) by Konrad Maciejewicz  - exhibition
until 17th June
Galeria Biała, ul. Narutowicza 32
The eponymous Haven is a place sought for by the characters in Maciejewicz's works. They are looking for a hideout, hiding in space that are difficult to identify or under objects that are no less mysterious. The author makes use of materials nobody needs any more - found object or old newspapers.
