How long is a medical prescription valid?
Implementation of prescriptions:
1. The term of prescription shall not exceed 30 days from the date of its issue.
2. The term of prescription of antibiotics and a prescription issued under the emergency may not exceed 7 days from the date of its issue.
3. The term of prescription for drugs or medical devices imported under the import target can not exceed 120 days from the date of its issue. In the case of prescriptions for direct import is also required to submit a correctly filled in the pharmacy and confirmed the need for the drug, whose validity can not exceed 60 days from the date of its approval by the Minister for Health.
4. The term of prescription for immunological preparations, made for an individual patient, may not exceed 90 days from the date of its issue.
