When and where can I get orthopaedic equipment?
The basis for a reimbursed orthopaedic article or auxiliary measure is an order issued by a doctor authorized to issue orders or a health insurance feldsher. Before implementation, every order for orthopaedic articles and auxiliary measures is subject to recording and confirmation by the Fund Branch competent for the place of the insured person's permanent address. For this purpose, persons insured at the Provincial Branch of the Fund in Lublin should deliver an order (by mail, in person or through another person on their behalf – except for providers who concluded a contract for the provision of health care services like supply of medical goods and auxiliary measures, as well as their subcontractors) to one of the points confirming orders:

Confirmation of the order can be obtained from Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
Receipt of an orthopaedic article or an auxiliary measure, except for monthly supply, shall be confirmed by the patient or on his or her behalf by a statutory representative or another person on the basis of:
- a written authorization issued by the patient or
- a certificate of a health insurance doctor about the health condition of the patient preventing him or her from issuing the authorization.
