Take a look at the list of activities we'd like to invite you to this autumn.



WALKS


The walks show you  Lublin from various perspectives so that you  can get to like it or find out why you don't like it and what's missing...
 
We set off at 5 p.m. on Mondays.


When?


10th October - Lublin for beginners, taking you round Lublin's most important places where important  events have taken place.
Point of departure: Plac Zamkowy(Castle Square).

17th October - Lublin-Majdanek: the history of the death camp.
Point of departure: Homo Faber (4 pm) / Majadanek (5 pm)

24th October - cultural Lublin: what important socio-cultural events and activities take place in Lublin, where and when.
Point of departure: Homo Faber (4:40 pm) / Chatka Żaka - Academic Centre, Radziszewskiego 16 (5 pm)

31th October - on the eve of All Saints' Day we'll be visiting one of the oldest cemeteries in Lublin in ul. Lipowa to look from this perspective at the history of the city and its inhabitants.
Point of departure: Homo Faber (4:40 pm) / Cemetery in ul. Lipowa (5 pm)

7th November - Lublin by bus.
Point of departure: Plac Zamkowy(Castle Square)



WORKSHOPS or Active Wednesdays


The role of the workshops is to provide entertainment, give you the opportunity to get to know new people, and expand your catalogue of skills.
 
Start: Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

All activities take place at the Homo Faber headquarters (Krakowskie Przedmieście 39).

When?


12th October - making jewellery from recycled materials.

19th October - workshop of a traditional singing technique.

26th October - cinema at HF

9th November - photo workshop: the way you see Lublin through your lens; what makes you laugh and what scares you here....

25th November - St. Andrew's Night: a party with fortune-telling....

30th November - RPG games...

We would like to make sure the workshops and trips are prepared for you in the best possible way, that's why  we are going to make lists of participants in advance so that we can estimate the number of people coming, the quantity of materials and the amount of time needed.



LESSONS OF POLISH AND POLAND

You will not only be taught the language and useful expressions, but also the city and its history; and.... well, the lessons are for you so you set the limits.
A bit tongue-in-cheek, fun, with no grades or textbooks. In groups for beginners and advanced learners. And
absolutely FREE!


Classes take place on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the HF headquarters.
The first class will take place on October 18th at 6 p.m.
