Different Sounds Festival 2011
 
starting on 8th July (Fri)
 
It is the fourth edition of the festival which has already become part of the city's cultural landscape and has been drawing artists and audience both from the country and from abroad. The stage is traditionally erected in the Old Town Square, next to the Crown Tribunal.

ART EXHIBITION

The Icon Light - an exhibitions of icons
until 25th July at the Open Air Village Museum, Aleja Warszawska 96
 
Polish and Ukrainian artists from the Icon Workshop of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker and Lviv Fine Arts Academy will present both traditional icons and those with a more modern bent.

 
 

 
Emilia Kołowiecka - A Collection of Images of People and Objects
until 15th July at Galeria Biała, ul Narutowicza 32
 
Emilia Kołowiecka is a third-year student at the UMCS Art Department. Her artistic domain comprises painting, drawing and pottery. The exhibition presents two cycles of drawings.
