François Matarasso * * - an independent writer and researcher of culture. It focuses on the relationship between culture and democratic society. It is an honorary professor at m Gray's School of Art, Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen (Scotland) and the International Fellow of the Centre for Public Culture and Ideas at Griffith University in Brisbane (Australia).

The European College of Culture is an initiative within the Lublin European of Culture 2016 Candidate project. With our experts, Dragan Klaic, Rose Fenton and Krzysztof Czyżewski, we are preparing a series of lectures, open meetings, and workshops taught by European experts in the field of culture.
