International Festival "Theatre Confrontations" was set up in 1996.
The program is structured around the idea of a confrontation of different theatrical forms and traditions, presenting the achievements of the most interesting personalities of theater, finding new ways of understanding theater. In addition to the main festival program is enriched with additional events including photographic exhibitions, film screenings, concerts and scientific sessions.
